Hey guys! Im like back from tacklecamp! :) Gosh i am already missing it. Wished that it lasted longer.. Oh well this post shall be spread over a few days so i can post everything that happened in tacklecamp from day 1 to day 4 :) So, here goes..Day 1 I had training & competition hence i missed out on the first part of tacklecamp! :( And guess what, competition got postponed to the next day and i had to miss part of church camp activities.. Well so the first day, i arrived @ like 6PM ++? Yup went to bunk, cause it was uh resting & showering time :) So glad i showered already hahaha. So after that we had dinner, then opening worship! The worship was led by Jonas. Then the sermon was led by Mr. Alvin Chan, a youth pastor of Wesley Methodist Church. :) Gosh i loved his sermon! It was sooo meaningful - we learned that God loves us & we need to rely on him for God has all solutions and we must accept that. The verses that were mentioned in the sermon are: - Jeremiah 17:9 - Psalm 51:5,7,10,11 - Nehemiah 1:1-4, 2:1 - John 21:15-17 - Ephesians 3:17b-19 - Romans 5:6-8, 6:6 So after the really great sermon, we had group time! :) Whoopss. Forgot to mention my awesome group members :X Group leaders: Jeremy, Krystal. Members: Heidi, Matthew, Joseph, Cassandra, Ashley & ME. :) For group time, we shared about what struck us the most during the sermon, & at first i was kinda shy cause its the first time i spent time with my group members so im a little new to them but it went out well :) Then, gdnights :D Day 2 Group breakfast! :) Yayyyeeee oh mans i should probably tell you HOW I WOKE UP >:( Jacelyn shook the bed! When she was trying to wake up @ 6AM hahahaha. :P Then yeah, i woke up cause i was sleeping at the lower bunk and uh shake shake shake i wake up :) So then we woke everyone else up yay! And guess what, i knocked my head! :( Like *bonk* *ows* :( Well after all the head hurt thing, we had breakfast. I think i mentioned that in front :X Later on we had our quiet time and did our devotion. After that, it was worship & announcements for where to go for our chosen workshops. But I think they weren't ready so we played some riddles. And well every group had to send a member up on stage - we send Heidi! :D Teeheee. So for the people on stage, if the answer the riddle correctly, the can go off stage. If not.. they had to do forfeit! :P Eventually Heidi managed to answer a question, & got off stage :) yay. Then there were 4 people on the stage left and they had to do a forfeit! They danced GEE hahahahah! :P Later on we had our workshops, but I left like 10mins after it started ._. LOL. Had competition, yeah doubles. Lost.. like 2-6 2-6. Gaaahh. Could've won you know? ;( Ah nevermindsss. So i returned to camp :) & uhm bathed @ salvation army then went to join my group :) The games were like finishing already.. But oh well joined in for a while. Then everyone went to bathe! HAHAHA. I was so glad i bathed abready :] teeheee. Had dinner, then worship again :) Okay sorry i totally dragged it really long.. Forgot all the activities & details but i enjoyed the whole camp very much! x) I feel that i have grown closer to God! :) Labels: tacklecamp |
